William H. Taylor letter : Pleito [i.e. Pleyto], Calif., to Thomas Flint, San Juan [Bautista], Calif., 1880 May 31.

Manuscript letter on pictorial lettersheet stationery of the Coast Line Stage & Express Line from its General Superintendant to Dr. Thomas Flint, a former employer of Taylor, requesting payment for a bond note from Flint's company that has matured and is payable to a J.M. Warner because "Mr. Warner is poor and has been in very bad health for a long time and is really in need of the money...." He also writes of the condition of some wagons and coaches owned by Flint. Also includes the matching pictorial lettersheet envelope addressed to Flint. Pictorial view is of a stagecoach being pulled by a team of horses on road with mountains in background.
